Halloween Outing!

Was invited by coursemate for a Halloween outing on the last day of October :)

We are going to Overtime!!

Have a hard time thinking what to wear that night!

This is a pre-celebration for Bow's turning 21th birthday with the family.
We both going back to Melaka for study so we had the celebration earlier.

Again i delayed the post for 2 mths :(

We went to have our dinner at 新天厨 cause mummy wanna try out their dishes as they just grand opening.

The thing we always do before eating is self-camwhore.

Cultural village

Day 3

We planned to visit Sarawak Cultural Village today!

Before that, we went to pick up sister's friend for brunch at Lam's Place for Laksa.

Lam's Place Beef Laksa

Lam's Place Chicken Laksa.

Their laksa might not be the best Sarawak Laksa, but worth a try for them!

Then brought them to have this foochow guang bing :)

Coconut mix sugarcane juice, simply refreshing for the hot weather!

After that we start to drive up to Cultural Village, it tooks around 45 mins to reach!

This is the first time i drive there, i'm glad that i know the way to reach there! #beproudofmyself.jpg

The next morning, i bring kawan to have our famous kolo mee somewhere near my house before sending her off to airport. Here end the trip of her to my hometown. A very simple getaway! :)

Life Cafe

Bow's friend, xiao yan and her bf also coming to Kuching this time. So, bow gotta go to airport to them up and they'll join us for trip today! I bring them for brunch at Life Cafe, Jalan Song.

As usual, order my favourite set meal.

Bow's friend booked Tune Hotel at town, so i asked her to drop us at Carpenter Street then she can bring her friends to check in the hotel.

It will not be a big problem for two of us walking around cause we used to walk a lot in Melaka! :)

Just realised that all this tee just priced below RM10!!!

Souvenirs! The keychains are very alike with those i saw in KK!

Then we walk to this Chinese Cultural Muzeum!

They renovated it and inside got air-cond so we stay there a bit longer.

Always passing by this cafe which is located opposite Hilton but never got the chance to go in.

James Brooke, yeap the man that appears in our history book!

You can see those time from Sydney, Spain and other places on the wall!

Found a lot ang-moh like to sit there reading books or chit chatting.

Bad thing about this cafe, it has no aircond!!! Hot max!

Magna Carta ♥

Day 1 - night time

So, after went for lunch with kawan we went back to home for a rest then around 6 something we were out to spring to get a movie ticket for night show then heading to town for dinner and sight-seeing! :)

Kawan said she must take a picture with cat statue,

so i bring her to our Padungan biggest cat statue for a shot.

We had some western food for dinner that day! This place was introduced by little sister, xuan. She said their carbonara was good and their pizza is very big portion! So, this two thing is in my mind! I hardly go out to have dinner or something like this with friend! So i'm very excited to try out this place and the food!

Magna Carta was previously an old court house which is located opposite Kuching waterfront!

Didnt know where i should park my car so we park somewhere behind carpenter street!

The weather that night wasn't good, we didn't choose to sit outside cause we scared that it might rain soon!

This is where we sit! Hmm, kinda hot there cause it is near to the kitchen. >.<

The ambience there quite good!

menu on board are slightly cheaper. The waiter brought magenta's menu to us and the food priced there is higher! Fyi, Magenta and Magna Carta is under same boss! :)

while if u look at Magenta's menu all are above RM30!

I ordered a pot of camomile tea! My favourite as usual!

Day 1

Kawan was asking for a visit to my hometown aka Kuching somewhere early in the year. I said of course you may come and i helped here to check out cheap fare and she got a two way ticket for just 100 bucks. Cheap isn't it?

That day sister was coming from Melaka too!

Picked kawan home, gotta wait for sister back from airport then only we heading out for some food!

I brought her there because she just going to stay in Kuching for 4 days 3 nights. There is so much local food in list to try out! We went for lunch around 3pm that day. Song Kheng Hai will be a good choice!

A dine at Permata Top Spot Seafood

A quick post before i start my another midterm paper revision :/

So, day 2 night time we had seafood as dinner! Permata Top Spot Seafood was quite famous for tourist and their price are quite reasonable too! Fyi, this is my first time bringing friends out for seafood dinner! I got no idea how to order, is it we need to pick the seafood ourselves? OMG i'm a noobie in picking ok? ><

So 5 of us, we ordered 5 dishes and all for portion of 3 peoples. We wanna try more different dishes! :)

This was introduced by my friend from west, Queenie while she visited Kuching 2 months ago. Whole set of drama 22 episodes. So attracted to the actor cause it acted by Vanness Wu! Remember the other Taiwan Drama Next Stop? I was expecting something like that. Another main actress, Lynn Hung, i'm so envy on her super nice body figures!

This is a super overdue post! >.< Cause this was somewhere in June where we hang out on a Friday night. That time, four of us - me, bff, Lynda and David were all undergoing internship in Kuching. We were all very looking forward for Friday every week like all the other working folks did :)

Station One Kuching was located in Hill Shopping mall. I've just been there for not more than 5 times. >.< Simply because it isn't that near to our house, or if we wanna go to town for tea session we would choose Tray Cafe rather than this.

that night, a very sudden decision decided to have a tea session at Jase Tea Room after our appreciation dinner. So, Lynda texted David while i'm going to text bff. Glad that they both can make it out for this random outing!

If i'm not mistaken, we arrived around 9 something while syndy joined us around 10 after her dinner.

Jase Tea Room always a good choice for drinking as it makes u feel like home. :)

This was KPMG's admin appreciation dinner. Just right before our last day in the firm. :) We were counted as audit department's trainee so i was kinda out of expectation to receive the invitation to their admin staff's appreciation dinner. *Touched*

Chef at Home, located at housing area near Hui Sing's Roundabout.

It is very easy spotted one!

It is a house concept restaurant, the owner fully utilised his car pouch and garden! :)

August Holiday @ Kota Kinabalu. Day 2

Here i continue to blog about my KK trip day 2 :)

Day 2 we checked out the apartment then we headed to the mountain kinabalu.

First stop, Gerai Pekan Kinabalu. Erm, places that sells vegetables, fruits and souvenirs.

There is a tower for tourist to climb up and have a clear view of the mountain.

a lot cheap souvenirs can be found here and they sells tees too!

But all priced RM25, kinda expensive!

I dunno why daddy will went on to cut the fruit there. We had video on it. Super nice memory over there!

Next stop, the kundasang war memorial. Hmm, maybe you dont know that that day was actually lunar chinese ghost month. I feel kinda reluctant to go up. But, grand aunt was like kinda interested to go up have a look so we sisters go up with her. Each of us paid RM2 for the ticket.

But still, this place is full of people and we cant get any proper nice tub.

This is where the hot water comes. Seriously can see the white smokes. As it rains a while later , so we leave that place before the night comes.

We had dinner at Beverly Apartment area as uncle suggested it to us for Chinese cuisine.

BBQ chicken wing is our favourites of the night.

While the rest of the food for the night are very disappointed.

vegies are okay, it never goes wrong.

some kind of chicken herbs soup, but tasted not good.

Can u tell this is thai style chicken? Dunno what are those little tiny thg floating on the sauce.

Nestum Prawn, I seriously think KK's ppl way of cooking food are a bit extraordinary. It doesnt looks like nestum butter prawn. =.=

After the dinner, we back to Tune Hotel and had a little bit window shopping over One Borneo.

Sisters and I went to One Borneo's Starbuck that night.

Then, the trip is gonna end here cause the next day we all feeling unwell after that dinner. Vomited few times and have to stay in the hotel for our day :(

August Holiday @ Kota Kinabalu. Day 1

August, it is still the month i'm undergoing practical training. However, it is almost off peak by that time so i applied 3 days holiday and went to KK for a short vacation with my family. Poor brother couldnt be tagged along coz he is having his PMR mock exam that period. Cant skip >.<|||

Tried our very first time online check in. Printed all the boarding pass and everything checked. Airasia rescheduled our timetable to early flight like 6 something in the morning. Yawn.

Sister who still studying in Melaka alone will came all the way from KL to meet us! :) She reached KK later around noon time.

We actually booked 2 nights staying at Tune hotel located near One Borneo and another night at one apartment which surprisingly located just behind Tune Hotel too. Easy switching accomodation the next day :)

This is the apartment which we booked for Day 1. ^^

It has a big living room with a plasma TV, 2 bedrooms with toilet as well as heater equipped and a kitchen. Both rooms has a queen bed an a single bed. So, grandparent shares a room with grand aunt while we one family of 5 shares another room.

Okay after settle down then we were out to hunt for lunch. We dropby a shop which has more chinese oriental food cause grandparents them wants to have chinese oriental food.

The weather is cloudy and it seems like going to rain soon! However, we moved on to next station!

I told daddy that my friend, Lynda introduced me something called coconut pudding and Lokam Panggang.

She said MUST TRY! So, i googled the map online and saved in my cellphone before i came KK #clever me :P

This place named Kampung Salut! :)

We found it! BBQ COCONUT? o.O

You can choose normal coconut, freezed coconut or BBQ coconut as written there.

They have pudding inside the coconut and pudding in glass too.

Out of our curiousity, we ordered a Kelapa Bakar, and a pudding buah plus a pudding in glass.

Hehe, just to try out whats the difference in pudding buah and pudding in glass :D

This is the place that kakak throw the whole coconut into the tong and BBQ it!

A picture of the pudding in coconut. Hmm both pudding in coconut and pudding in glass tasted the same. It is just that you can have the whole coconut as well but pay more! Their puddings are made up of coconut water and their secret ingredient which i dunno what la. #tastedsupernice!

Sorry a lot of pending post, but i wanna blog about it though it already passed for some time.

So, this is the day me promised bff to go for a Lunch plus Sing K session.

I'm craving for Life Cafe's noodle, so my bff who loves me so much let me chose the venue!

We reached The Spring around 2pm. Headed to Miniature Corner and spotted our beloved Teacher at Nose. Went down to meet her and we chit-chatted for an hour. She is still super duper nice and friendly. Learned a lot through the talking session Hehe.

Syndy's Pre-Birthday Celebration. SideWalk

As you all know that i've done my practical training for half years then follow up will be 7 weeks of holiday rotting at home. Syndy was graduated and she will be staying permanently in Kuching while i gotta get back to complete my final year studies. Bff was hoping to have more outing and plans with me before i leave Kuching.

One of the plans is to have a dinner in SideWalk *wink*

So, she got her reason to have a dinner there and i'm actually secretly planning it as a little pre-birthday celebration for her that night.

Dated her there 7pm. I'm the one who arrives earlier.

This is a good place for chilling as well as having some nice food.

Bff's aunt called her up for some talking and i thought she found out my hidden cake. So, i bring the little cake out before our meal starts.

I'm a mooncake promoter

Right after my internship ends on 26th August, i continued to work as a full time mooncake promoter at The Spring for 16 days continuously without any break in between. Working hours up to 12.5 hours everyday without any proper meal break in between. Really gone through a very hard time because i have to rush for my internship report every night after i'm home till midnight. Torturing myself but it really gives a good pay. So, just bear with it :)

The first day, we get to make a new friend named Ivan which is a seller for the next stall. Then he introduced his collegues, adeline and Lisa to us. Slowly, the next day we make friends with another side of the stall which sell multi-flavoured mua-chi, Ray and Hazel. Total 4 stalls of us starts to make friends and we can always have different kind of topics to talk such as love, friends and family. Never expect we can met such kind of friends during a part time job :)

This is the first time hanging out around with 2 pretty colleagues and my dearest Lynda. We had K session togather and so surprised this is the first time Lynda had K session with her own friends! :) It is always fun to hang out with people like them. Laughing non-stop! ^^v

The other 2 poor girls went back to office work that Saturday morning. They reached a little bit late than us. They are all going off to outstation for the rest of 2 weeks for July. Time to relax!

Those days being a Tour Guide

Date: 15th September- 17th September

Queenie came all the way down from KL to have her 3 days holiday break. She is a friend who i met on last year's Prom Night. It is so surprise to have new friends and they continues to keep in touch with you even though you people just met for once :)

On 15th, we didnt met up because she wanna relax at Pullman Hotel while waiting her boyfriend to be off from meeting. We meet up the next day morning. I wanted to bring her to try out famous laksa for brunch but too bad it sold off because 16th was holiday! Then we moved to Lam's Place.

We had Lam's Place Beef Laksa. It was my all time favourite :)

Then i planned to bring her take sampan across the river to visit layer cake's factory. But, again because of holiday, the whole waterfront were blocked. I cant find any way to go in the carpenter street. Then we move on to Civic Centre. It was really bad luck that the lift break down then we are not allowed to go up :( #tourguidefailedmax

Then move on the MBKS for the picture gallery. I'm sorry again, it was closed on public holiday! I hate Public Holiday *for that moment*

Day Trip to Damai Beach

Sister and Mitch is going to Damai togather with us. We meet up Queenie and her boyfriend at Kimbay for breakfast. Then we put down the lappie at my house then headed to Damai.

i know i've been missing in action for like at least 6 months. I've not been updating my bloggie for the period i stay in my hometown. Life was busy and i'm too lazy to sort out all those pictures that i took. So, i'll be blogging backward soon! :)

Memories should be written down, isnt it?

This week is very happening to me. I'm on holiday mode and everyday was just drama-ing, text-ing, out-ing, sleeping and eating. Haha I guess i'm gonna turn into a lazy bug soon!

By the way, i went for another permanent curl time again with my mummie today! I'm a safe person, so still i back to the hairstyler that i trusted so much :)

This is me before i permed my hair again. My hair is at waist length! I feel so sad to cut it off but my hair were spoiled, so what to do? :(

Dun get cheated that my hair is still in good curves because i do set do my hair before i went to the saloon :)

It tooks 2 hours plus for my hairdo. Look at those hairs on the floor. /cry

It has been a while i didn't do blogging and seriously no time for me to tidy pictures. I suppose to be working today but i skipped one day as i just back from my KK trip. :P

Here are some pictures from my bff, Syndy's cammie. She invited me along for a photoshoot organized by Joash and Dominic. Kai Liang joined us too that day.

Theme : Casual. But i wore maxi and slippers. Casual not? *dunno*

Time: wake up early in the morning 645am and they picked us up at 715am. *yawn wide wide*

I brought along bubbles blower as a tool.

But it doesnt show effect in the outcome as Joash is using B&W film ><

Seriously i feel stressed :D coz i dunno how will those pictures looks like.

Found another spot which kinda nice.. But it is a bit hard to go in..

26 June 2011 . Janice's Birthday Dinner

Aloha! It has been a while i didn't blog about anything. Internship is such a tiring thing and i'm just too lazy to organize my blog post. So, today i got the mood and blogging right now at midnight hour.

Janice birthday is on 1st of July. But we had birthday dinner in advance. They organized it at Jojo Seafood Restaurant. Fyi, i was having internship at KPMG Kuching. Jojo Seafood Restaurant was the nearest cafe which i used to have lunch there at least 3 times per week. Their dishes are nice therefore i would still recommend my family to go for it :)

Little sista and I were craving for MCD. Hence we went to MCD for tea time. Spotted a family were preparing a birthday party in MCD for their children. They bought alot of Colouring books for the other kids who attended the party. Sista spotted the book were from MPH so we headed to The Spring and got one for Janice too! She loves colouring!

Guess what, mummy and aunt got the same pressie for Janice.

She was spotted a little down that day but my pressie cheers her up! :)

It's my birthday!

4th June. Celebrated my Lunar Birthday with family. That day was Agong's birthday Lolz.

On the actual date- 16 June 2011.

The first msg received was from Mr. Tree Bear from KK. Surprised that he still remembered it. Then, was waiting for besties messages but non of them send me any. Mood was quite down till morning i reached office. Mr Song is the first one who saw facebook notification and he told all my colleagues at Level 5 that it is my birthday! They keep sang birthday song and make me kinda paiseh that whole day. The news even travels up to Level 6's office!

Then, Buddie finally messaged me around 11 in the morning. We plan for a tea session at Tray Cafe. At last someone dated me out which wont makes me seems too pity to celebrate my birthday at home. Thank god! She dated Darren too which i'm still unsure whether he did remembers that is my birthday?

We went for tea session at 9.30pm. Chit chatted, ate some snacks and till 10 something i got a message from dear Syndy which start to freak me out. Then all of a sudden, the waiter just came and tell me that, "hi, there is a guy who asked me pass this present to you. And, he left already!" I was in shocked mode and i doesnt dare to take over the present. It will be totally embarased if that is a prank.

Buddie keep asking me to unwrap the pressie..

Yado Cafe

A super belated post, hmm like 2 months ago?

Me, buddie and wewe was there for tea session. I've been passing by this cafe a few times when fetching my brother off from tuition nearby.

yado cafe. another coffee shop.

the prices is in moderate level, just normal but below the prices compared with Bing and Jase Tea Room.

What i love most about this place is the cosy environment it gaves me.

It makes me feel like home, warm.

I enjoy sitting on the sofa, watching the television there, have a sip on the blueberry smoothies that i ordered. Meet up with old time buddies, being myself in front of them. Idk i'm wearing my casual clothing and with my specs on. I just wanna be relax after piles of hectic works. Not going anywhere, not doing any clubbing, not using our brain, just sit down and relax. That's how life should be, right?

Mummie said grannie owes teased me to treat them a meal after i got my first pay for internship. So i've delayed it until today! We make it for breakfast. Just mummy, grandparents and siblings. We went to C121 food station located at Stutong.

I felt happy when i wake up in a pleasant weather and also when i got enough of sleeps.

Royal Wedding Fever ♥

Actually i wasnt aware about the Royal Wedding until Thursday my collegue mentioned about it. Another collegue keep on singing Fairy Tale while we mention bout it. He is funny!

There is a live broastcast on Friday! So, i just watch the Royal Wedding for the sake of curious how the whole things going on. And, i wanna give it a omgawd! Everything is so grand so fairy taled! And.. i start falling into dreams again >.<

Catching up the live show, checking up facebook for their pictures, watching videos, reading the newspapers today and i found their Royal Wedding Song today! Totally falling in love with it.

Melaka Day 2

So the next morning we slept till 8am. Was planned to have Assam Laksa as breakfast. Woke up in the morning, the elder one all were out for breakfast themself. Left four of us in the apartment.

Mummy went to have some melaka sight seeing with the grandma. And they can take nice photos too!

Me, bow and brother went to Jonker 88 for assam laksa but they asked us to go on 1030am as things are not ready yet~! Then got a call from mummy saying they were lost in Tan Kim Hock area, we headed to meet them up. Then sister wasnt feeling well, brought her to visit the panel doctor! Was a busy morning! End up Jonker 88 assam laksa is my lunch! :S

Hello Melaka again!

here i continue previous post :)

Our family 6 members and grandparents, eight people in total. We were searching places to stay in Melaka which is cheap, nice, comfy and located in the centre of the town! Last year saw friends stayed over this place and it really looks great! So i got the contact number and mum them proceed with the booking stuff.

Checked in the apartment around 4pm that day. Pretty late huh? was busying settle hostel stuff before we can have fun! The apartment is like located at the first floor of shop houses. Once we stepped in the apartment, we really wanna give it a WOW! super comfy oh!!!

The whole apartment consist of 3 rooms with 2 queen bed, and a double decker bed; a kitchen with all the kitchen tool available including freezer and stove; 2 toilets and a living hall with tv available too! :) *like the pictures showed below*

Parents went to KL on Monday, 04 April with little sister. Me and Brother joining them on Thursday night because i gotta work while brother got schooling. ^^ we both skipped one day for our work and school.

The next day, we are heading to Melaka!! :) Sending bow back to Melaka while have a short trip around Melaka over the weekend ^^ parents and grandparents is driving all the way to Melaka while 3 of us sisters taking bus to Melaka.

We took taxi to Bukit Jalil coz i thought bus to Melaka is stationed at Bukit Jalil but in fact they moved to TBS (Bandar Tasik Selatan). I was kinda panicked and i almost just went up to another guy's car who offered to send us to Bandar Tasik Selatan by paying another 15 bucks. But there is alternative ways to go Bandar Tasik Selatan by taking LRT (cost less than 2 bucks) or taking Rapid KL (cost RM1!!!)
Called dear Syndy and there is another Chinese man who tell us we can take Rapid KL *nightmare in KL*

Beauty Angel Gym Room

Since i'm back to Kuching, i always search for places to have some exercise. Went for Belly Dance trial at Right Steps but sisters found out Belly Dance isnt that easy. We cancel that off.

Then, mummy got a trial coupon for Beauty Angel's gym session. Beauty Angel is a facial saloon but their new branch located at Jalan Song do provide gym services. Me and little sister just go ahead and give it a try :)

First time stepping into this new branch of beauty angel. It gave me a cosy feeling like usual. I love their interior design so much! :)

Up till the 3rd floor, left is to facial rooms and right is to gym room.

We kinda interested because of that fit massanger. haha lazy people wan do lazy exercise. Their package is RM70 permonth or RM177 for 3 months. UNLIMITED! You can go there everyday or for as long as you like that whole month. RM70 is kinda worth la i think...

Young su's icecream!!

Date: Last Sunday, 20th March 2011.

A date with Lynda. Her boyfie was out for trip, she is alone over the weekend so same goes to me too. We went for a movie on Friday night which is big momma: like father like son for night session. That is the first movie i watched in Kuching since i back from Melaka. Was too busy~

We didnt made a night session outing on Saturday night cause i got something to do. So we decided to meet up in Sunday noon time for lunch. We were both craving for Shilin's food! :D so coincidence!

One thing i hate for kuching shilin is they make the stall in open air style.

One day, we saw posters along Jalan Song. It is having promotion now! Normal facial wash only for RM38(First Trial) :) Me and sister decided to give it a try! So momma helped us called up and make a appointment on Sunday noon time :)

I always afraid of going those facial treatment centre ask they like to consult you then hard selling you their products. This one is just nice, they didnt hard selling, and no any facial consultation (this might be good might be bad, depends each ppl's judgement. )

RM38. whole facial session took 90 minutes!

So, we start of with a foot bath for 5 mins after filling up a normal form about our particulars.

SO relax.

we had aroma therapy before our facial session starts :)

The facial session took approximately 90mins. Sister is at the other side of my facial room. The facial rooms is small so we actually can overheard what ppl next door talking. I said that they doesnt have any hardselling right, well~ they got another trick!

So, they will like normal routine talk to you and get to know more about you. And making you letting go any self defence and getting into a total relax mode where you couldnt think properly or at the end you just feel like answering them "umm,umm ya ya~"

I'm always alert and away eventhough the place is kinda relaxing. So, the girl talking talking with me then suddenly she switched topic and asked me" Do you want to add on another antibiotic? Just for RM30 ONLY!" They keep on saying like those product is cheap and add on "RMXX ONLY" but, those are not your money, to you sure you can say like " ONLY RM90 ONLY ma!!" =.=

I rejected that offer. Then, she stop persuading me and stop talking to me :D

Then silence in my room allow me to overheard what my sister and the other girl talking besides my room. So i listened the whole process how my sis got that trick!

Girl: Do you want to add on an antibiotic?

Sister: Umm ya [ she must be thinking this is normal procedure they telling us what they going to do next, thought that it is in the package!]

Girl: Ok, this will add on RM30.

Sister: [silence and must be with the face like this =.=]

Me at the otherside thinking, what the heck! My sister's face no any serious acne but she oso offered her to add on antibiotic? Omgawd, i really cant help to stop her from falling into the trick~ :D

She gonna pay RM68 for this facial session LOL

I dunno how the make it, they finished the whole facial session on time!

We got free fish spa after that for like another 5 mins :)

After finised our facial, we went yeoung-sul for strawberry yogurt icecream!

Hmm, V-day is the day all delta accounting students free from the super tough subjects!

Am so sad that i finish read this stack of notes and i still feel i can FAIL that paper!

Nah, forget bout it! Me and sister date for the noon time! We went to watch movie "I Love HK!". I was craving for movies! The only entertainment we can get easily in Melaka is go MBO watch movie! :)

After the movie, we headed to New JJ! very shiok for the first time walking from melaka sentral to new JJ! >.<" gone through the super long and big overhead bridge!

Activity: Movie Day "HomeComing" and Tea Session

There is so many Chinese New Year's movie on show but we didnt have time to watch all. We only manage to watch one movie before Chinese New Year which is Home Coming :)

We watched the 9pm show and it ended around 10.45pm. So we going to have the first gathering of The Sixth after one year we didn't meet up! They decided to go Isabella Cafe at 4th Mile. :) Good then, this is the first time i go there. Last time we were there but sadly is closed.
